The Chateau by Tiffany Reisz
Review by Angelique
There is absolutely nothing quiet or vanilla about this book! Tiffany Reisz has once again managed to pull me into her crazy and colorful world in her latest book The Chateau. This book is the ninth installment of The Original Sinners series and nothing short of a rollercoaster. “Do you like it?” There’s nothing not to like! We meet Lt. Kingsley who has done his fair share of things for the agency he works for and not to mention the colourful life he’s lived until his latest assignment sends him to a place he might be too overeager to visit. There’s the image you create in your mind of what a place might be and what might be going on inside, then there’s the actual place and the actual things that is going on. At first it all seems to meet his expectations and then who knows how things can go? Other than Kingsley who plays the main role, we meet the Madam and the ladies and gentlemen who work for her. There’s enough characters to keep you alert and not to have you going back to check where they fit in. The story and writing keeps you interested and it gets harder to put it down, the deeper you go. “I want to die with you inside me I love you that fucking much.” Along with his pain and pleasure, there’s the monster from his nightmares who doesn’t easily let him forget. This book is dark and hot and keeps you hooked! Worth five painfully-good stars! **ARC provided by author for honest review**
