Liberty by Kirsty Dallas
Review by Allyson What an INTENSE, compelling story! Liberty by Kirsty Dallas takes you on a heck of a roller coaster ride full of high altitude drops and twists that will make you hold on just a little tighter. A story of a town taken over by villain mercenaries, two of which I wanted to reach through and punch and two wonderful, well descriptive characters who become so much more than friends all while trying to survive. Emotional highs and lows are tested making you, as the reader angry, sad and passionate right along with Ink and Grace. Liberty is the sequel to When Nothing is All You’ve Got. Even though this book is considered to be a standalone in the authors eyes, I think it’s best to read the previous book to fully grasp the futuristique vibe, plus Ink and Grace are mentioned prior as well. As I did not read the prior book, it took me some time to get in the right headspace. Keeping this review spoiler free, all I can say is Liberty is raw, at times conflicting, you might want to throw your kindle… but hang in there as Kirsty’s writing is remarkable. Her words will boggle your mind and impact your thoughts. You’ll fly through the pages only wishing you could read slower. So get prepared to take a journey to Liberty! **ARC provided by the author for an honest review**
