Broken Compass by Jo Raven

Review by Lisa Steamy. Sexy. Broken. Unlikely family. Heat. Passion. Hate. And so much more is what you will get in this book. Broken Compass, by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jo Raven is a story that pushes you outside the box, breaks you down and then slowly, ever so slowly builds you back up. I honesty had no idea what this story was about, I went in blind and am so happy that I did. Because I normally don't read these types of stories I would not have picked it up, BUT going in blind this one has changed my mind. Beautifully and tastefully written situations that many may not be able to handle. There is extreme content and/or situations done/implied that is not for everyone. As the story developed you just felt all the emotions that you possible can. Sometimes you read stories and they just seem so far out there its a turn off, but Jo Raven has done such an amazing job writing this story. I think that everyone should read it. I love when we get to see characters from another story get their own story. Sydney was originally written about in Bad Wolf. She is Gigi's best friend, and yes we get some to read more about Gigi in Sydney's story One girl...three boys. Living in the same building has its perks and downfalls. Their lives are linked through horrible situations. But as many people do when bad things happen they keep to themselves, not realizing the power of the people who love them. But what happens when feelings start to change and attraction to "others" starts happening. Do you ignore them, or do you let go and see what happens? I love this quote in the blub from the author, it fits this story perfect: Love is not a road. It's a country. A sprawling galaxy. Love has no compass. No rules. No limits Love s a universe. Lose yourself in it. You will not be disappointed in this story. I can't tell you enough how amazing it is and I don't usually read this type of book but I am sooooooo happy I got the honor of receiving this ARC. **ARC provided by author for honest review**
