Review by Amy W. She brought out the addict in me, and he was hungry for just a tiny taste of her. I kept seeing this book everywhere and I was interested in reading but skeptical if it would be what I thought it could. So when the opportunity to review was presented to me, I jumped on it. Finally I could feed my curiosity. Tabatha Vargo and Melissa Andrea's Vanilla & Vice was not at all what I thought, and now I'm kicking myself for waiting to read. Eden Vaughn escapes to Vegas and Empire Sevens in search of a better life, what she gets is a whole lot of trouble and sexual tension in the form of Zander Hale. Zander is a sex addict. Like most addicts, it is a struggle to get through the day without giving in to the urge of one more hit. Six months 'sober' and Zander believes he is doing well. Then Eden walks into his casino and his restraint is put to the test. "She's everything I desire. Everything my addiction needs. Blonde. Beautiful. And so fucking innocent even the sinful lights of Vegas refuse to reflect on her flawless skin." With one of the main characters having a sex addiction, I expected a whole lot of down and dirty super steamy scenes. Surprisingly there was a lot less than I was prepared for in the heat department, at least of the sexual variety. The chemistry between Zander and Eden was explosive. I was caught up in Zander's internal dilemma and couldn't read fast enough. And when they finally get together, I needed to be doused in water it was so freaking hot! "You see, I don't make love. Never have. Never will. I fuck, Eden. I fuck hard and fast. I fuck dirty. Do you think you're ready for that?" I loved that sex didn't take the wheel in this story, well I mean it was front and center but it wasn't. Yeah, I really don't know how to explain it. Let's just say it was nice to read a romance that while sex was a big factor in the MC's life there wasn't sex page after page. Not that there is anything wrong with that. ;) Anyway, I am hooked and I want more Zander and Eden, plus Kennedy, Kade, and Cole. And that ending!!! WTF!!! I kept trying to swipe to the next page, I was ready for the cliffhanger because I know that book two is coming soon, but holy shit what a cliffhanger that was!! I cannot wait two get my greedy little hands on book two! Tabatha and Melissa have turned me into an addict for Zander and Eden. **ARC provided by author for honest review**
