Seasons of Love by Kristine Raymond
Review by Lisa This is one of those books that you will swoon over. Seasons of Love--A collection of seasonal short stories, by Kristine Raymond will leave you with a smile on your face. Four season and four short stories. Each story has their own couple, their own story and location for their season. And each story is drastically different from the others. I enjoyed how each season also had you feeling their pain and/or adventure. Starting with spring in Kentucky, we meet Caroline and Rick. Caroline who has secluded herself away after her husband death, meets Rick, when a water pipeline to her house breaks. But can moving on/letting go be so easy or can Rick's ex-wife be telling the truth? Summer time fun at the shores of Nantucket can't always be fun. Taylor just wants a normal life with her adopted daughter. But what happens when the former Marine, Grant shows up claiming he is Lily's dad? Fall in Aspen. Ramsey's life has not been that easy being the black sheep of the family. Witnessing a murder, she takes off and now is on the run for her life. But when Bishop finds her, how much longer can he protect her and ignore the sparks flying. Will they survive a mob boss hunting them? Winter up in the mountains of New Hampshire. Trooper Alex is stuck in one hell a snowstorm, finding a place to wait the storm out finds him in the arms of Chloe. But someone else has claimed Chloe whether she likes it or not. These are all great story lines for those moments when you want a quick read with a little punch. Easy to read and follow with details to match. **ARC provided by author for honest review**
