Royally Arranged by Nora Flite

Review by Sue Royally Arranged by Nora Flite is an intriguing story and a wonderful premise. Nova and Hawthorne (Thorne) must agree to an arranged marriage to create a truce between their warring families. Nova is kind and caring, so very different from her family. Because she is so different from her family, they do not appreciate her. They undervalue her. Nova wonders if Thorne will ever value her for who she is. Thorne is a joker and avoids serious conversations and responsibility. He has tried many times and many ways to make his father proud of him to no avail. Now, he is to be married and become king of Torino. He must also create and heir to solidify the truce between the families. Thorne now questions if Nova wants him OR rather something from him. Although this was an interesting story, the plot and the pace were very slow. It seemed almost uneventful because of it. The ending itself felt rushed and the conflict resolved way too quickly. This is a well-written story and I did enjoy the story and its characters. The smoking hot sex scenes weren’t a turn off either. Nova. I liked her character and the way she gave Thorn the validation and support he wanted and needed in her own quiet way. Thorne, he is funny and cute. I loved seeing him grow into his position and his responsibility. I also liked the maturity he shows as he came to terms with it. I adored the fact that once he committed to Nova, he was all in. Overall a good story that caught my attention but was unable to hold it throughout. **ARC provided for honest review**
