The Wrong Man by Natasha Anders

Review by Lisa What a sweet, slow burn, funny, and dramatic story. The Wrong Man by Natasha Anders is book three in the Alpha Males series and its Dahlia's turn. One of the things I like about this story is that I absolutely hated Sam, he is made to be this crude man, with life by the B>>>> and nothing is going to stop him. But as I read on (because I just loved books one and two and needed to read Dahlia's story) the story grew more involved and so did he. The story was a bit foreseeable and unsurprising, but I truly enjoyed reading. As this can be read as a standalone, I found it more enjoyable having had read and having a bit of back story of Dahlia's life previously in her sister stories. What did surprise me is all the little details that are added in throughout. Having the sister that we previously fell in love with make an abundance of appearances. Very well written to include all this and bring out a different story for Dahlia. Sam Brand goes and gets everything he wants and walks away from the things he doesn't. Dahlia, a/k/a Lia, has broken off her engagement, but is still dreaming of the day she meets the man she can settle down with. But throwing caution to the wind and spending a wild night with none other than Brand, her world tilts a little. Sometimes that could be a good thing and sometimes it can be a bad thing. But sometime later when Brand shows up again and makes an offer she can't refuse, will Lia's life tilt back or swirl out of control? Ms. Anders has such away of banter between her characters that just causes you to smile and laugh. Well done. **ARC provided for honest review**
