Bishop by Sawyer Bennett
Review by Amy W. Sawyer Bennett starts her Arizona Vengeance series off with a bang. Bishop is a fun, entertaining and sexy as hell read. Bishop Scott has been traded to a new team and moved to a new city. A night on the town and a little 'fun' leads to the one-nightstand of one-nightstands. Brooke seems absolutely perfect and they are compatible in and out of bed, too bad he'll never see her again, right? Brooke Perron accepted a cushy, made up position in order to be near her grieving father. When her hook-up from the night before shows up in her office, sparks fly for them yet again. Then her father walks in and she drags Bishop around on the ride of his life with her announcement that they are engaged. I see her and it's all over for me. I was hooked from the first line. This is definitely a charming sports romance with lots of laugh out loud moments. Both characters have no inhibitions when it comes to sex and they let the passion fly. Outside the bedroom they have to work at a relationship, but that's mostly because they get in their own way. I haven't read any of the Carolina Cold Fury novels and it's not necessary in order to begin this series, but I totally need some more hot hockey players to tide me over until the next book comes out. Bishop is a winner for me. **ARC provided for honest review**
