Review by Lisa So happy to be back at Briar U!!! The first installment in the Briar U series is The Chase by Elle Kennedy and what a chase it is. This story just has all different types of situations that occur and Ms. Kennedy has a way with words that pulls everything together that you are left wanting more. From start to finish you will laugh, cry, hate and repeat. But what pulled me in was Summer's own personal demons/issues. The real life stuff that some people just don't want to deal/talk about. Very well portrayed and dealt with. (don't want to give anything away). And then there the other situations of being a college student that comes into play and we didn't even touch the romance aspect of the story yet!!! Summer has had a crush on Fitzy (her brother's BFF) for a while, but when things look up and then crash and burn, life throws you a hockey puck and now your living in the same house and another roommate is knocking at the door. What can happen? Fist flying? Drunken confessions? Doors slamming? Moving on? There is just so much to this story, you will not be disappointed. I have to say that Summer and Fitzy's story is my favorite. As I was thrilled to catch up with the others who have attended Briar U in the Off-Campus series, I am super excited to whose next in this series....Brianna? I can't wait. **ARC provided for honest review**
