Buck Wild by Lauren Landish

Review by Leah City girl meets her Cowboy. A wild ride of country charm meets sassy city. Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Lauren Landish paints a down-home country love story in Buck Wild. The summer every girl dreams about, well I did, okay still kind of do shhhh. After getting her bachelor’s degree Sophia Stone moved to small town Great Falls interning with a local Vet for the summer before heading to Veterinarian school. Growing up in the city, Sophia didn't expect to become a Vet but a twist of fate has her sitting in the passenger’s seat of an old GMC truck heading down a dirt road to a house call at the Bennett’s ranch. In walks in the tall drink of water of James Bennett and first impressions are not always the best in stressful situations. James Bennett lives his life 8 seconds at a time, one rodeo to the next is now back home helping out at the family ranch for the summer. The rodeo has been his life since he was able to ride. Bull riding is his first love after his momma, a southern boy charm with a little wild side. All the flash and lights from being a professional bull rider over the years have not change James Bennett’s country charm. A down-home cowboy who likes living on the edge, riding bulls, living life to its fullest, that is until he meets up with a saucy, take nothing from anyone, Sophia Stone. But James is soon to learn that Sophia will give him a ride for his money. This city girl keeps her Cowboy on his toes and oh does he love it. He may have even met his match. From hot and steamy Outlook Point to behind the barn, James and Sophia raise the temperature in Great Falls. As the summer comes to a close James and Sophia have to decide what is next? Is this just a summer fun or something else? But you know how all the best-laid plans go? Lauren Landish really brought it home for me growing up in the country. This story captures the sweet country charm with a little wild side that every woman dreams of in her “Cowboy”. It's just an all-around country love song, one of those stories with all the "feels". Glad I already live on a dirt road in a small town with my Cowboy or I would be packing up. I will admit the end was a little-and I say a little because its just a smidge-drawn out but it is a sweet love story with a HEA. ** ARC provided for an honest review **
