Bastard Prince by Nana Malone

Review by Amy W. Nana Malone has me hooked on her words and characters! Bastard Prince is the second half of Lucas and Bryna's story and one I was impatiently awaiting. "I love you more than I have ever deserved to love someone." We pick the story up right where it left off, with Lucas learning a 'truth' from his con artist mother. His actions following her declaration spur most of the storyline throughout the book. This is book two and book one needs to be read first to get the most out of the story. Unable to look away, I knew I would never be able to get her out of my blood. She would own my heart forever. Not smart, but like I gave a fuck. Lucas and Bryna's love was put to the test, along with other relationships. I really enjoyed reading from the other various POVs and it helped to give a better understanding to events as they happened. But I did not see that betrayal coming, or more I did not see it coming from who it did. I was side swiped and left stunned. My stupid heart fluttered. Like a sappy girl who'd dreamt of Prince Charming. But Lucas was so much better than any Prince Charming. He was real... dirtier too. This duet was my first by Nana and like I said before I am now a forever fan, possibly a stalker. I love these characters and the way they interact with each other. The love and friendship that they hold for one another is commendable and I cannot wait for more. So happy that Roone is getting a story next. I think I fell in love with that brute while he guarded Lucas! **ARC provided for an honest review**
