Timid by Devney Perry
Review by Amy W. Devney Perry has a way of making you fall into the emotional and love every tormented step. Timid is the second book in the Lark Cove series and is every bit as wonderful and endearing as Tattered. Willa is the shy girl who has loved Jackson from afar for years. Jackson is the guy who drowns his demons in alcohol and women. They manage to have one night together, and Willa is devastated when it seems as if Jackson doesn't remember, not even sparing her a second glance. I absolutely loved Willa. She is definitely the title's namesake, timid. But don't dismiss her quiet demeanor as weak, she is a strong woman when it comes down to what and who matter to her. Jackson is a douchebag and not likeable at all at first. But he somehow manages to redeem himself and he grows on you as the story unfolds. I am ready to pack my bags and head to Lark Cove to see just what happens next. Cannot wait for more of this amazing series. **ARC provided for an honest review**
