If you are looking for a book for one those quiet rainy days to fall in love, this is it. J.S. Scott did it again. Learning how to live with the inheritance she just received is not the easiest for Jade Sinclair. She did not grow up with money. She has worked for everything she has. Even put herself through college getting her doctorate in wildlife conservation. With this new money, she has options now. She does not have to jump on that first job offer, but she does know she wants a piece of land that is important in preserving the wildlife in the area. And of course Eli Stone owns that land. Eli Stone is a man who gets what he wants and always on his terms. He is a business magnate. Work hard, play harder. An adventure seeker, adrenaline junkie, and a philanthropist on top of everything else. Still that one “player” you know you should stay away from but the smooth talking, tattoos, and muscles are just too tempting. Goodness knows Jade's willpower is tons better than my own. I would not mind being the mouse in his cat and mouse game. Eli and Jade have their struggles to get through in this book. Eli had my heart by the end of this book. Jade’s character was written well coming from a science nerd and how awkward it is dealing with people much less dealing with the opposite sex. She is sharp, independent, and one smart cookie. I love their love story, it was sexy, steamy but also not too much. Just the right amount for this love story. ** ARC provided for an honest review **
