Love on the Run by Gemini Jensen
Review by Lisa I went into this book blind. Never reading the blurb or a review and I adored this story. Love on the Run by Gemini Jensen is one of those stories with a slow burning chemistry and a little bit of a kick with a HUGE cliffhanger at the end. Thank God book two comes out at the end of the year(ish). And to top it off, this a debut novel at its finest. One of the things that I loved about this book is that chemistry between Gray and Valley as well as Valley and Lyra's friendship. Very well written, the build of the story right to the end is perfect. The slow climb until BAM its over and you keep swiping your device hoping more will appear automatically. Sloane/Valley has been on the run from a young age with her mom. Entering her senior year of high school comes with a new town, new name, new life, and new experiences. Having moved around so much, friends/relationships and general life experiences have been limited. But the first day at a new school, when Sloane bumps Gray things begin to unravel. Life starts to happen....feelings are happening....friendships happen... and then things can go wrong in a flash. Can they make something or will Valley's past come knocking at the door? Besides being a romance, there is more to this story. A little mystery, with a dash of high school drama, a sprinkle of town gossips and family drama drama drama. Many thanks to the author for the opportunity to read your story. **ARC provided for an honest review**
