Bought for Marriage by Fiona Davenport
Review by Elizabeth I am a lover of all books about arranged marriages and Bought for Marriage by Fiona Davenport is another great book within that trope. It is a short read that will have you flipping those pages! The last thing on Sullivan’s mind is dating much less marriage. When his mother sets up an appointment with an old college friend of hers that is now a matchmaker he cannot say no. Sullivan decides it is time to get his family off his back so he comes up with the idea of a business arrangement type of marriage. Kinsley is just like Sullivan when it comes to dating and marriage. She has more important things on her mind like her brother getting the surgery he needs to survive. Sullivan is all about work and no play. Kinsley just wants to save her brother. Granted, they do have chemistry when they meet and it is hot. The hotness of it makes their sex ignite flames. I liked that there weren’t any lies between the two of them or cheating when they entered the ‘arrangement’ so to speak. I, personally, thought there could have been more to their story. I feel like there should have been more scenes with them getting to know each other, their families, etc. To me it seemed it was more about sex than anything else with them. Bought for Marriage was a good read, I liked it. I encourage you give it a shot. I will be checking out more of Fiona’s work as I cannot get enough of this trope!! **ARC provided for an honest review**
