Rebel Hard by Nalini Singh
Review by Nancy
Rebel Hard was a breath of fresh air. It is the second book in the Hard Play series by Nalini Singh. A clash where modern day traditions meet old traditions. An engaging story about an arranged marriage and two people finding love. Nayna Sharma always knew that an arranged marriage was part of the plan. She did everything to please her parents and do right by them. If that meant marrying a man her family found for her, then so be it. Deep down she needed to let loose, be a little rebellious. One night, that is all she needed. She found herself in the arms of one the most handsome men she had ever met. Nayna gave herself this one moment, little did she know her frenzied moment would turn into her forever. Raj Sen was a man of tradition, he found himself wanting the arranged marriage and all that it entailed. He needed to feel connected, he longed for a traditional relationship. Although he knew love might not be part of the equation, he was a romantic at heart and was looking for more than a good pairing. He was looking for chemistry. He did not expect to find her, only to have her walk away. To his surprise, she turned out to be a candidate his parents had already arranged a meeting with. Nayna and Raj were absolutely dynamite! The chemistry was undeniable. A slow burn that will have you wanting more. Nayna and Raj navigate cultural expectations, family traditions, and individual differences to make their relationship blossom and watch it slowly develop into an everlasting love. Nalini brought me into a world I was not familiar with. She did an amazing job giving us a glimpse of Indian traditions and culture. An absolutely wonderful take on a contemporary romance! **ARC provided for an honest review**
