Flow by Chelle Bliss
Review by Sue Flow is the first book I read by Chelle Bliss and I’m wondering why it took me so long to do so. Daphne meets Leo at her brother’s wedding reception. She literally almost falls to her knees in front of him. Like the swoon worthy hero he is, Leo grabs her before she falls. The attraction from there was instantaneous, electric and undeniable. The pull is so strong between them that it was hard for them to let go. But, for all the intensity and passion they share, their love is forbidden. Their families have been feuding for what seems like forever. Will Daphne and Leo stay away from each other ignoring the spark between them; or, will they indulge in what they so desperately need risking all out war between their families? I love a book that makes me feel and this book was definitely that. From their first meeting, the attraction between Daphne and Leo was palpable. Their relationship was a slow-sizzling-burn but, it burned oh SO good! This author provided a sweetness to this story, as well as some moments of hilarity which I enjoyed tremendously. I would have liked to see more development into Leo and Daphne’s relationship. It is quite the whirlwind from start to finish. I also thought the resolution was too easy and a little unrealistic for families who have been feuding for so long. Regardless of this, I was both invested and pulled in by this story from the very beginning and it did not let up until the very end. **ARC provided for an honest review**
