absolution: a novel by Ava Harrison
Review by Elizabeth I have no words to describe, Absolution by Ava Harrison. I was completely blown away by the characters and emotion surrounding the book. Jace is far from perfect. He is barely existing in this world. After the loss of his wife a year ago, he is barely making it day by day nor does he know how to be a father to their twins. Jace blames himself for his wife’s death and cannot move past it. Sydney is understanding and patient with Jace and the kids. She does her best to help Jace move past his grief and join the land of the living again. There is no time limit on grief. My heart broke into a thousand pieces for Jace and the twins. Absolution is filled with so many emotions that I found myself crying on occasion. Sydney, in my opinion, is the best thing for Jace and the kids. I loved that while Sydney understood his pain, she also struggled with coming to terms with it. I also loved that while the book was heartbreaking at times, it was also filled with honesty. I cannot say enough great things about this book. The characters are amazing and such a treat to get to know. I enjoyed the book overall and will be rereading this baby as soon as I can. You will love it! Be sure to have a box of tissues handy! ** ARC provided for an honest review ** Release Date: October 8th 2018
