Heath by K. Webster, & Nikki Ash
Review by Nancy
Absolute perfection! K. Webster and Nikki Ash have rendered me speechless. Heath was phenomenal! A dark, soul wrecking tale of tragedy, loss, and overpowering love. I can't begin to describe the magnitude of this book. Webster has long become one of my one click authors. Her words never cease to amaze me. But this collaboration was so much more. It was gritty and twisted and it sucked me in from the moment I started reading. Heath and Catrina sucked me in and kept me at my wits end through the entire book. I was blindly following a tale of forbidden love, lust and tragedy. I skated a thin line between hating both Heath and Catrina, but also feeling sorry for them. Their love was doomed from the beginning and it didn’t end well for either of them. The best part about this book is that it is divided into two parts and we get more than one romance, more than one tale. Heath and Catrina might not have had a HEA but that wasn’t where the story ended. We also get Cat— Catrina’s daughter and Harrison, the orphan that grows up under Heath’s thumb. Their story was like deja vu. The story of Heath and Catrina was repeating itself— a forbidden love that was destined to fail. But Cat wasn’t going to end up like her mom. She was going to fight for her happiness and for the love of her life. She was going to get her HEA. An all consuming must read! **ARC provided by the author for an honest review*
