Accidentally Yours: A Billionaire Marriage of Convenience Romance by Ilsa Ames
Review by Elizabeth Accidentally Yours is a standalone romance by Ilsa Ames. If you love the marriage of convenience/arranged marriage trope, then this book is for you. I am a huge fan of the marriage of convenience/arranged marriage trope, however, I was a little disappointed with Accidentally Yours. We have two people,Tiago and June, who admire each other from afar. When Tiago is set to inherit his father’s fortune, the only speculation is that he has to get married and have a baby within the first two years of marriage. While Tiago and June are on their honeymoon, they discover they are really attracted to one another and want to give their marriage a real try. I loved seeing the great chemistry between them and OMG the sex was HOT!! Unlike other books I have read with this trope, you can tell within a few chapters how much they care about one another. My issue was when they broached the baby topic. June and Tiago had a rough time communicating. She wanted to try this and that and he did not want to listen. Yes, I know this is a book but let’s face it, even book couples need communication. They do face another challenge, one I will not discuss, and they have to really work to try and save their marriage. One has to learn to fall in love with the other all over again. It’s emotional at times but it is really great. All in all, Accidentally Yours was a good read. I will definitely be reading more books by this author. **ARC received in exchange for an honest review. **
