Taking Shelter (Medicine Wheel, #2) by B.J. Bentley
Review by Lisa Not your typical second chance when it comes to dating, breaking-up and getting back to together. This story is so much more than that. In the second installment of the Medicine Wheel series, Taking Shelter by B. J. Bentley is about second chances. This story may have some triggers and is not for everyone. That being said, it is also heartfelt and inspirational. It is about finding strength, hope, and love when hitting rock bottom. Emma Jean was at the top in high school and when the one she had a crush on didn't make his move, she moved on. Moving on, left her broken and beaten with little confidence until she decides her situation cannot go on any longer.. Noah has wanted his sister's BFF since high school, but he waited too long and watched the girl he wanted to be swept off her feet by another man. When Emma Jean shows up at Noah's sister's house, he won't let her get away this time. He is determined to bring her back and keep her but it will not an easy road. I enjoyed this story but felt that it was a bit rushed and jumpy at times The little details that pulled the story together captivated me. This story comes full circle bringing Emma Jean back to where she is supposed to be. **ARC received in exchange for an honest review*** Release Date: January 6th 2019
