Review by Elizabeth Wicked Player is an EPIC. EPIC. EPIC read by Stacey Lynn. She has managed to write a fantastic love story about two people who could not be more suited for one another. Holy. Batman! Gage and Elizabeth have some hot as heck chemistry, let me tell you. Those two know how to get it on and make you want to go find your significant other or a toy. Wicked Player lightly touches the BDSM world but it is no way hardcore. In Wicked Player, we meet Gage, a high profile football player, and Elizabeth, a reporter. Elizabeth has been assigned to cover Gage’s new project, a new hospital wing for the families of sick children. Gage also happens to be the guy that rocked Elizabeth’s world at the exclusive club, Velvet, the night before. I loved the banter between Gage and Elizabeth as well as the banter with the supporting characters. Gage’s story behind his reasoning for backing this project made me cry as it touched my heart. There were plenty of moments between Gage and Elizabeth that made you want to slap them upside the head. What I loved most about Wicked Player is that Gage is in no way a player of any sorts. You don’t have to read about him screwing some ‘groupie’ or whatever they are called. Wicked Player is a light read full of banter, sex, groveling, romance, crying, you name it. I, for one, will be one clicking this book when it comes out so I can re-read it when I want.
