Review by: Alysia Branded by Clarissa Wild is an amazing book!! You don’t know whose side to be on, or who wronged who. It is a crazy suspenseful book that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end!!! Brandon is an Indian that doesn’t live on the reserve, instead, he lives in a town that hates him just for the color of his skin. His dad is only trying to make a nice peaceful life for him and Brandon. Dixie is a small town girl who is nice to the boy that everyone thinks is weird and doesn’t belong in their town. Her family does everything in their power to make sure she knows that Brandon is different and he doesn’t belong in their little town. Jump forward ten or so years and a turn of events has Brandon and Dixie running into each other and needing need each other to survive the night. Brandon blames Dixie for the problems that happened to his family in high school. While Dixie blames Brandon for problems that happened to her in high school. I loved how whenever you think you know what is about to happen Clarissa Wild throws in a plot twist. I can’t say much more without giving too much away.
