Gluttony (The Elite Seven, #5) by K. Webster
Review by Lisa If you have not started reading this series yet, you need to!!. The sin of Gluttony is book five in The Elite Seven series. It is written by K. Webster and she has outdone herself. I am in awe of all these authors that have written this brilliant series. Each book is a different sin by a different person entering the Elite. You need to read the books in order to understand the story line and the magnitude of the story. There are only two more books to go and I am dying. Some questions have been answered but more questions have risen. Oh, there is a moment of "NO WAY, that did not just happen" and yep Ms. Webster did that!!!! Gluttony is the sin of habitual greed or excess in eating. I never knew that until I looked it up. GOD, aka Baxter Samuel Goddard V. felt like he should have been Pride and boy is he wrong. Ms. Webster stuck him with Gluttony time and time again throughout this story. Without giving anything away, she made a simple task for him that turned in the most horrible way and the little side story lines, holy smokes!!! Sometimes it's all about the little details and this story has them ten-fold. The old saying you're a glutton for punishment has never been truer. GOD is a glutton for punishment. What I loved about this one is that Ms. Webster kicked it up a notch. The previous stories had huge lead ups to the task and the road down of the other side was shorter. This story starts off with a bang and then brings it back around. Maybe it was the wrap up for some parts of the story or maybe the conclusion coming closer to the end, but this one had a different feel to it which was very welcomed. Can't wait for Sloth. ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
