Choose Me by R.C. Boldt
Review by Elizabeth Holy. Crow. Absolutely amazing!! I have been a huge fan of RC Boldt for some time now and her latest book, Choose Me, owned me from beginning to end. Buckle-up for an emotional ride and have tissues handy! Hollis and Magnolia meet when they are eight years old and immediately become the best of friends. With both of them coming from different sides of the tracks, so to speak, it was not easy to maintain the friendship they shared but they did. As the story progresses we get to see them navigate the early years through teenage years and finally college. The chemistry between Hollis and Magnolia is infinite. You can see the love they share for one another even if they are too pig-headed to admit it. RC Boldt wrote a kick-behind story about two best friends that will do anything to protect each other. Even if it means giving up the one person that makes you feel whole. There were a lot of emotions floating around in, Choose Me and I cried more than I care to say. These two are impossible not to love and I did not want to see it end. ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review.***
