One Man (Naked Trilogy, #1) by Lisa Renee Jones

Review by Leah Ok, I have to get this off my chest real quick… Lisa Renee Jones DID YOU REALLY DO THAT TO ME??? One Man by Lisa Renee Jones is a suspenseful mystery that has delicious chemistry throughout the book. And then, a cliffy!! Right there, when it is just getting into the thick of things, the door slams shut in your face. I wanted to throw the kindle after I flipped the pages back and forth trying to figure out what the heck happened. Jax North is trying to figure out what happened to his brother. He is going to find out why one way or another. He knows the Knight family had something to do with it. Emma Knight is trying to deal with the loss of her father. Deal with her mother mainly abandoning her to "travel" to get away from losing her cheating husband. Her brother going MIA, so Emma is having to handle the fundraiser that he normally handles for the family business. With all that going on, Emma still stands tall with her shoulders back and smile like she did not find her father’s journal. A journal that has things in it that could hurt her, her family and maybe even Jax's family. I love how Jax and Emma meet even though he planned it. It describes their characters so much. Jax is sitting in a booth behind a curtain drinking North Whiskey as Emma whisks in, running from the drama that is her family and all the creeps that she is left to deal with since her brother is out of town. Even though Jax's plan is to use Emma to find out what happened to his brother, the story starts out with him protecting her. The story moved a tad slow for me for a bit but there is so much deceit and trust issues that were sorely needed. I cannot wait for book two but I am afraid of another cliffy… AHHHH!! This cliffy was freaking HUGE! ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
