My Monster (The Savage Shadows #3) by Ellie Jean
Review by Leah Turbulent, brooding, protector, a typhoon of emotions is what comes to mind when I think of My Monster by Ellie Jean. This book has me in a bit of a conundrum. I absolutely LOVE Tanner. His dark, sinful, alpha-dominate self is just mouthwatering. I just don’t think I connected well with Crystal and I really wanted to. There is more to her, I know there is and it left me wanting more from her. Tanner is just delish. A Monster. A deadly Monster. A man of few words but he knows what he wants and just takes it. Who is going to stop him? No one. Crystal is a headstrong, intelligent businesswoman. But they always say opposite attracts. And the connection between Tanner and Crystal is fire. The chemistry between them is on point. I think about ¾ into the book I finally felt like I started to dive into the actual characters of Tanner and Crystal. I was allowed into their minds and their inner thoughts, finally. Yes, the chemistry was hot but I want to know what brings these two polar opposites together besides being hot as hades together. Also, I think this is where more of the darker side of Tanner shows. Along with the darker side of the Savage Shadows comes out. The twists and turns start off running in this book and you need to hold on because it does not stop until the end. I love this series. I just could not get the flow of this book and so many twists had me second-guessing what I was reading. The ending will have you saying “Hold Up. Wait a second. I need more!” ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review.***
