Review by Leah This is an enemy to lovers romance or for a high school staged romance. What I consider a “Bully Romance”. I don’t know if anyone remembers the old saying “He picking on you because he likes you and won't admit it”? This is it. Going to a really small school myself, I know how easily the entire school can be persuaded in one direction or another due to the “cool kids group”. And oblivious as people are, reading the reviews, high schoolers have sex, lots of sex, HA! Just saying… add in the paranormal aspect of wolf shifters you know there is gonna be more. Alpha Bully (Wolf Ridge High #1) by Renee Rose wraps all that up in one hot little package. Cole is out for Bailey due to the turmoil in his life. Is it Bailey’s fault, no. But Cole is getting the not so friendly reminder of her existence at home from his father. And who else for Cole to take it out on than Bailey. Just remember Love and Hate go hand and hand. Which Cole finds out quickly and it pisses him off more. Bailey, on the other hand, has her own battles she is fighting on top of Cole’s all-out war on her. She is a submissive character. She has been through more than most. She is the girl next door type who sees the good and drives everyone insane. But she also puts up a brick wall at times covering up all her own issues. Putting herself last. Does Cole walk all over Bailey? Yes. Does Bailey give in easily to Cole? Yes. Can we say this definition of an Alpha Bully / Submissive relationship? In my book, Yup! I am hoping book 2 will dive more into the pack. Into the Shifter side of this series. Wondering if maybe there is something in Bailey’s background that drew Cole in so hard. Maybe she is part Shifter?
