Room 143 by Laramie Briscoe

Review by Elizabeth Emotional roller coaster. Check! Worth every single penny? CHECK! Where do I sign up for more?? Room 143 is my first read by Laramie Briscoe and I have to say I AM IN LOVE! This newest creation of hers is a total win, in my book. Nash Gilbert has had a crappy few years that all started with the death of his wife and unborn son. So when his brothers decide he needs to get back out there, so to speak, they do what any typical brothers would do. Hire an escort. Or did they? Room 143 was not what I expected it to be. I expected a cheating book with an angry as heck wife or husband to come in at some point. However, what I read was so much more and so much better. I felt that Nash wanted to move on but was haunted by his loss and feeling like he was cheating if he did. When it came down to either accepting what his brothers did or staying stuck in the same point in life, he had a choice to make. Ultimately he made his decision and it was the right one for him. What he did not expect was her. Her being the woman that could make his life worth it again. Laramie took me on an emotional roller coaster ride and I loved it. Room 143 is filled with everything it should be: romance, loss, grieving and finding love again. I was blown away by the amount of emotions she was able to convey to me while I was reading. Never have I ever cried as much as I did when reading a book. My heart tore into millions of pieces for Nash and Caroline. Room 143 is so worth the one click! I cannot express just how much you need to read this gem. ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review.***
