Review by Leah Books 1-3 were un"freaking"believable and now book 4 Destroyed... speechless. Bella J knocked it right out of the dang park. This is a story of survival. Of overcoming but this is also revenge. If you have read books 1-3 you will understand where I am coming from. If not, get on it! Go get these books and read them. Book 4 takes us on a journey of 2 people who are 2 of the strongest characters I have ever read about. Yes, they have quite a bit of mental and physical issues to work through but they are nowhere near broken. Neon is pushing herself to stand strong. Trying to prove to herself and to everyone else she is "fine". Which if I was her, I would not be anywhere near "fine". Do you know the definition of Fine? F*up, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional <--- that would be my "fine". And of course, during her trying to prove to everyone that she is fine, Ink is silently standing in the back as always catching her whenever her walls tumble. Ink and Neon have a push and pull. Not the cat and mouse game the "tease the hell out of each other just to piss each other off" type of push and pull. The ones that fight and bicker at each other so much you just want to knock them upside the head, lock them in a room for a week so they can get it out of their system. But even though they bicker and fight, Neon is the first person Ink looks for when he enters a room and the same goes for Neon. He may drive her insane, she may throw a shoe or two at him a time or 2 or 3 but he is her constant. As dark and violent this series is and as many strong characters there are Neon and Ink have turned out to be my favorite. Their strength is absolutely beautiful. **ARC provided for honest review**
