Titan (Dark Kings, #1) by Shantel Tessier

Review by Leah I have been in such a book funk lately. I have been craving for a dark, gritty, intense, dark read and Shantel Tessier delivered that beauty to me on a silver platter! Titan is all of that and above. Pretty sure I will reread this one this weekend. Every character in this book I could go on and on about and that includes the secondary characters but let’s talk about what I am calling the “Trio of Terror”. Emilee, Jasmine, and Haven. Emilee is put through the wringer and the depth that Shantel brings out of Emilee is priceless. Jasmine, oh Jasmine, she is the friend everyone needs. It should be required to have a Jasmine in every group. She is the true ride or die and her booty is riding shotgun. I love her. I am dying to read her book. I have a feeling her layers go deep. Haven shows up a little bit here and there. There are parts that made me curious about her story. I realized after a bit her story is in Code of Silence, pick that up pronto! That is hers and Luca’s book. I read that one immediately after this one. So now mix up the Trio of Terror together in one bowl and you get the best friendship ever. I absolutely love their relationship. A little jealous, I will admit. And no one, I repeat no one will stop them when they put their heads together. Now we get to Titan. Holy hecksticks! This man is as arrogant as they come. That intense I used before. It is for Titan. All Titan. I would not say like an arrogant a-hole, I mean the man knows what he brings to the table. He was raised a King. I know it says Dark Kings #1 but I highly suggest reading the Code of Silence first. I mean you can read this one first but I wish I read the Code of Silence first since the characters connect. Seriously thinking about grabbing Titan again and curling up for the night. It is just so good. **ARC provided for honest review**
