Filthy Rich (The Five Points' Mob Collection, #2) by Serena Akeroyd
Review by Elizabeth Mafia books are hands down one of my top five favorite tropes to read. Filthy Rich by Serena Akeroyd ticks all the boxes for things I like to see in a mafia book. Filthy Rich is not what I would consider heavy on the mafia side more of mediumish feel to it. Serena was able to keep my attention from the beginning to end with just a little deviation on my part. Inessa is not the type of character you would expect seeing as she is a Russian Mob Bosses daughter, you would think she would be on the tougher side. However, once you really get to know her and her story you start to understand her a bit more and then you realize just how sheltered she has been. Eoghan brings out the best in Inessa. He really gets her to come out of her shell and speak up so to speak. At first, he is a bit standoffish because he does not want to be married but he did not have a choice but he makes the best of it. Eoghan and Inessa have that chemistry a reader looks for when reading any book. Yes, there were a few scenes I thought felt a little forced but with the type of arrangement they had, an arranged marriage, it was to be expected. Honestly though once you get a feel for both of them and see just how well they fit together, you wish the book would never end. I look forward to reading more books, Serena. This book is way worth the one click! **ARC provided for an honest review**
