I Choose Us by Ashlyn Nichole
Review by Lisa I Choose Us by Ashlyn Nichole is her debut novel and what an amazing story to start with. When I first finished reading this story, I had to sit back and absorb what I read. Not in a bad way, but in a state of aweness. What an incredible story this is. Ali is in her grove. She picked herself up and did what she had to do two years ago that was best for her and her two kids. Starting over is never easy and with kids in two even harder. But having a supportive family (which I would mind being a part of because they just seem awesome) has given her the chance to get her dream job and keep the roof of her and the kids. But with all that, her personal life has been forgotten. Until her son decides to play football and the coach is hot stuff. Declan has sworn off women. He has set in his ways, of being a realtor and helping his sister with her son. So when his nephew needs a coach of the football team he jumps on the chance to get out of the mundane day to day life. But what happens when the attraction is so strong that a little liquid courage starts a snowball effect in possibly the right direction? Good, bad, insecurities and so much more happens. Wonderful story. A must-read. I can't wait to see what Ms. Nichole comes out with next. **ARC received in exchange for an honest review**
