Like You by Rachel Leigh
Review by Elizabeth Like You is not like most forbidden romance books I have read. Yes, I have read forbidden romances between a student and teacher before but never on this level. Claire is in Redwood running from her mob boss husband who is a ducking butthole of epic proportions. She uses her passion for art to be a high school art teacher, much to her chagrin. But being on the run does not leave her with many choices. I have to admit though, Claire and Knox’s relationship is sweet. Knox is not just caught up in the moment by screwing his teacher. He is actually in love. Then there is Claire whom I think wants to be truthful with Knox from the beginning but cannot bring herself to do it. To put him in that sort of danger. Claire is very selfless in that way. Clarie and Knox are good together despite their little age gap. Yes, little age gap. Normally I am not fond of older woman/younger man books but there was something about Like You that just pulled me in. It was full of romance and mystery that kept me guessing throughout the book. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you really do not. Overall, Rachel has written a great book for all to read. I cannot wait to read more of her wordy creations!!
