Review by Lisa WHAT AN ENDING!!!! First Off I did not see any of that coming. L. A. Cotton has outdone herself in King of Souls, but two of the duet, Verona Legacy. Book 1, Prince of Hearts, left us hanging with unseen engagement. Book 2 steps up and delivered with a punch or a two. Not wanting to give anything away about the story because there is just so much going on and all these moving parts that pull this story together brilliantly. L. A. Cotton's best work!!! As the truth surrounding their legacies begins to unravel, everything they thought they knew shatters. But Nicco will do anything to protect the girl who taught him how to love, and she will risk it all to save the guy who stole her heart. The clock is ticking as old and new enemies close in. And that clock ticking is like a time bomb waiting to go off!!! Amazing writing, incredible storyline and so much more. The ending of this duet is mind-blowing and left me in a bit of a book hangover, but the glimpse at what is yet to come left me dying for more!!!
