Knee Deep (Love in the Suburbs, #4) by D.E. Haggerty

Review by Lisa Knee Deep is D. E. Haggerty newest release and what a great story it is. It is book 4 in the Love in the Suburbs series and can be read as standalone as each book is a different couple and different storyline, even though we do get to see some of the previous favorites. As this was my first book by D. E. Haggerty, I really had no idea what I was getting into. I read the synopsis and it drew me in because of the second chance genre. And well I was surprising swept away with Violet and Luke s story. I have to say though my absolute favorite part of this story is when grandma makes her appearance through the story. OMG that women is awesome and I wish she was my grandma!!!! Because this story is a second chance we get the back story of Violet and Luke along with their current state of minds and situations. A bonus is that even though the majority of the story is Violets' point of view we do get a few chapters from Luke's point of view, along with their own Secret Thought as the time. Violet and Luke were high school sweethearts and sometime after graduation. But when a situation happens and Luke and Violet split up, it takes years for Violet to pick herself up and move on. But just when things just start to look better in walks none other than Luke into her job and she discovers that he is actually friends with her newest group of friends too. From here we are taken on an emotional rollercoaster and long with a few laugh out loud moments to the happy ever ending of the story. Wonderfully written story. I can't wait to dive into the previous stories and for what comes next for this small town. ***ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
