Bespoken (Carmel Cove, #2)by Rebecca Sharp

Review by Lisa

Bespoken is book 2 in the Carmel Cove series by Rebecca Sharp and what a story this one is. As this story is a standalone I highly recommend you reading book 1 this series first. There are a few things/situations that start in book 1 that carries over to book 2. But I promise if you don't read book 1, you will still love Jules and Mick's story.

From the very first chapter, we are taken to situation that had my heart beating a little faster and from there on out we are swept away with a modern-day fairytale story. Jules is the princess locked in the castle or this case hotel by the sea:

Jules Vandelsen never wanted for anything - except everything money couldn’t buy.

Except what she didn't have that she craved so much. So when an unlucky chain of events happen, set her course in a different direction, we are taken on her emotional journey to finding herself and her own two feet to stand on.

Mick, just wants to do his job and keep his brother out of trouble. But when a damsel in distress appears before him, what could she do? But be the good guy in the shadows.

But sometimes the good guys have to step out of the shadows and that is when life can get a little messy.

Wonderful read, Loved catching up on all the Carmel Cove townsfolk and I can't wait to see who is up next to find their HEA.
