Defy You: Rebel Ink #3 is Kassie and Spike. Can I get a Woop Woop! I will admit I was cheering on Kas starting on page 1. That little girl is all spunk and her give a damn is busted. I was like a little cheerleader sitting on the sidelines wolf-whistling, throwing hints to Spike to get with it. That girl needs Spike and not because he is a tall dark tatted man but because we all knew there was a huge strong heart under there and that is exactly what Kas needs. If I was a matchmaker I would have definitely picked these two together.

Kas grew up hard and not hard because of her parents where strict. It was bouncing place to place dealing with a mother who was an addict and where they could afford at the time. The worse part is her mother left her a lovely parting gift and not a good kind. Meeting her long lost brother has healed her heart a little she does not feel as alone but Kas has to clean up that parting gift.

I would not describe Kas and Spike’s story as a second chance or even a sweet little love story. This is two souls who have had a hard go of it and all they know is how to survive and what has worked for them. They are not a picnic and roses couple but they are just so good for each other. The love you feel between Kas and Spike is deep. Not a first but by the end, this is a couple who can and will take on the world and be standing on top battered and bruised but still together.

Rebel Ink series is fantastic. It is definitely a series you need to pick up.
