Love in the Aisles (Sunrise Valley, #1) by Heather Van Fleet

Love in the Aisles is such a sweet contemporary romance with characters you cannot help but to fall in love with. If a sweet romance is what you are looking for, Love in the Aisles is just for you.
Charlotte is a recent, well not too recent, widow of the town's “hero”. Charlotte may be his widow but that does not mean anything to this small Georgia town. My only concern with Charlotte was her lack of backbone. I mean the way she lets some of the people in this book walk over her just made my blood boil. Granted I know this is a book but still, Charlotte is the sweetest and deserves the world after everything she has been through.
Ian is a famous celebrity trying to escape Hollywood after his bride leaves him at the altar. The place that makes perfect sense for him to hide just happens to be the same small Georgia town as Charlotte. As Ian is trying to fit into his role as “Ian Tate” by working as a stocker in his step-father’s grocery store, he sets his eyes on Charlotte. Neither knowing their lives will never be the same.
Charlotte and Ian are in no way looking for any form of relationship but they cannot deny the chemistry they have. Or can they? Both Charlotte and Ian have things they need to address with themselves before thinking of any type of relationship. I was able to connect with both Charlotte and Ian which made reading this gem all the much better. I was a bit aggravated with Charlotte not having a backbone but her reasons are valid to a point. I would have liked to see Charlotte “let go” so to speak a bit more. As for Ian, he was nowhere near perfect either. He could have handled certain things a bit better than the way he did but he is a man (LOL).
Overall, I loved reading this sweet gem and was sad to see it end. I think it is worth all the one-clicks it receives. Heather and Jessica have written a wonderful wordy creation that will keep in hooked from beginning to end.
