Mykel (King's Descendants MC, #3)by Bella Jewel
Review by Alysia
Mykel doesn't trust anyone, let alone an outsider claiming she can help the club bring down a sex trafficking leader. Waverly does her best to understand why Mykel hates,
and distrusts her so much when she is only trying to help and has done nothing to bring on these feelings.
Waverly goes undercover per se for the MC to help bring down the sex trafficking ring that is going on in their town. They have had problems with the "ring leader" before but it didn't end well. So now they try to outsmart him by putting a girl on the inside. She is a strong, independent person, who has to lie and portray as a weak, drug-dependent person, who runs to the wrong people for help. Dax toys with her emotions and psyche by making her feel like she's "different" than the other girls he has. Waverly had this mental image in her head of how Dax should be, but once she's on the inside he acts completely different than she thought he would, which troubles her.
Mykel doesn't trust Waverly but she is placed by the club in his house for protection when she isn't inside Dax's home. As time goes on he realizes just how far she will go to show her loyalty to him and the club. He feels this pull towards her, but due to his distrust, he won't let himself act on it. But maybe, she isn't as bad as he originally thought. Maybe this will work out to where they will win against Dax and the sex trafficking and he will be able to have the girl and the club in the end.
Will they outsmart the bad guy? Will Waverly get through this without too much mental turmoil? Will Dax win and they all fail??
